Should an AD be expected to flawlessly resize a bracelet?
I popped into the AD where I bought my 114300 to get it resized today; thought all was well but then later noticed the screw heads were a bit damaged (not as trashed as some I've seen on other threads) and that there's some chipping/scratching on the polished edge of each link, around the pin hole. If I ask for a couple of replacement links and pins, am I being reasonable? The brushed clasp and bracelet surface have picked up some scratches along the way, but the polished areas and pins have been flawless until now.
(I know... in theory I could buy the correct screwdriver and Loctite and resize it myself in future...but I know myself and my physical limitations well enough to know that I'd end up not being as neat as I'd like) |
