Trusted Seller

How can you tell if a seller is a “trusted seller”? Is there a list of them somewhere? I’ve seen the Who’s Who sub section where sellers are mentioned, couldn’t find any one who is labeled “trusted seller”.

Take a look at the ad. Usually they say they are independant watch sellers with no affiliation to rolex. Most of them have multiple ads a day.

Some names to look for are takuya, davidsw, justrolexes, distictive time. They usually also say they have been a seller on the forum for years.

I would say 90% of the watched in the classifieds are from trusted sellers, the others are from random members.

There is also a section where you can comment on your experience with a seller. Most of the time you will see smooth transactions from the TSs.

I can tell you from personal experience it is very hard and nerve racking to wire thousands of dollars to a complete stranger and hoping to get a genuine rolex watch but i have done enough where is doesnt bother me anymore. These guys are top notch and do this all day long. I have yet to have a problem or bad experience with any of them.

There is no list.

When you are ready to buy ask on here about the seller and you will get some feedback. Also you can check in the Whos Who section of the forum for feedback from previous transactions.

Do your due diligence and make sure that the seller you choose you actually contact directly. You should be fine. I've bought and sold maybe ten watches on TRF without a hitch.

TRF does not list "Trusted Sellers".

What we do is provide this board for members to do their own research when choosing a member-seller and make an informed decision.
