Now a Breitling fan

Was looking to add a partner to my lonely Tudor Black Bay. Checked a few watches that included Omega Aqua Terra Blue and Silver dial as well as Moon watch. The next stop was a Rolex AD, which became my last stop as soon as saw this Breitling and I was in love. The AD was generous to give some good discount so that I did not have to go the grey market route. All in all this is something that is complementing my Black Bay. Some friends would keep me away from Breitling by saying it was a Rolex knock-off etc. I think Breitling are more modern and fresh looking watches then some Rolexes which tend to be more classic.
Later I plan to add the stainless steel and croc strap. If you guys have any other suggestions about the straps, please send them my way.

Beautiful watch. I have a Navitimer 01 and love it. Rolex is Rolex and Breitling is Breitling. I don’t see a similarity between the 2 brands. They look different but both brands are good quality and should last. I know many who have both brands and enjoy both. Heck Breitling is an older company than Rolex and have their own identity. Congrats!

Nice watch, I too am a Breitling fan. Have an Avenger II GMT on a blue rubber strap, runs perfectly and that clasp is the best I’ve seen.

Hope you enjoy your SuperOcean

Very Nice!
Any idea about other straps I can use with Breitling?

Congrats, I have Breitling watches too and their models are easily recognizable through history and heritage. I am little bit skeptical about the recent model changes, only time will tell.

I think adding blue to the Super Ocean 2 is very cool. I always get confused with some Navitimer dials. It looks very busy and crowded. Heritage piece is pretty cool with mesh bracelet.

Agree.
Can’t phantom considering buying another.
What made them unique is now gone.

I have been looking at navitimers as well. A must for any collection. But, it’s hard to figure out which one to get with so many combos out their. Recently they have a green dial on a green alligator strap that is a special order for Middle East.

Great summer watch, huge congrats. By the way, anyone who says Breitling is knock off of Rolex is a complete idiot, honestly.
