I agree, pricey. Reason behind my guess is there was a post a few weeks ago where someone guessed 19.5k and David responded with something along the lines of “not a bad guess”.

I used to work in the automotive industry and I always remember the huge mark-ups on low production cars when they first came out and there was always someone in line to pay the crazy dealer mark-up in order to be the first guy on the block to have one.
Its no different with watches. You've got to pay in order to play early.
