Rose gold wedding ring with SS GMTII BLNR2
Hi, I bought my BLNR2 in 2014 which I love but I recently got my wedding ring resized (would you believe it shrunk!) anyway after not wearing my wedding ring for 18 years I have it resized and it fits but....
When I bought my wedding ring I bought a rose gold one. (20 years ago) I love the ring but feel it doesnt go with my BLNR2. Whats your thoughts on clashing SS with rose gold? Do I need to buy a rose gold rolex? I feel it would be too bling for me, and look like im trying too hard. I am not a "show" type of person, I love my rolex but a rose gold one may be pushing too much of an image for who I am? |

Finding an excuse to buy CHNR?
Have the same problem, it is slightly disturbing with non sports watches I must admit. |

No clash at all imho. Sure it's 'better' to have all matching metals, yet no worries as individual fashion has no rules :)

The wedding ring is the one exception to the matching metals rule, so I wouldn’t worry about it.
Another idea is to get one of those black silicon rings https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y2MHQ4L..._8W7iBbVW3E19H Have a small ceremony with just you and your wife, and make it a secondary ring. It’ll look nice with the BLNR not to mention it will be safer as you don’t have to worry about getting your finger/ring stuck on something. Wear the metal band on those more special occasions. |

Wedding rings aren't just jewelry; they're symbols. They go with anything except divorce. It's your call.

What's a BLNR2? I am guessing, BLNR?
Anyway, I wouldn't worry about whether my watch matches my wedding ring. Wear what you enjoy. |

Rose gold wedding ring with SS GMTII BLNR2
Interesting you just brought this up. Instead of hijacking your thread I asked my own post about a gold band my wife bought me last night. I’m leaning towards just not caring about the SS of my watch and the platinum wedding band and the gold clashing.

I say don’t give it a second thought. I have a BLNR and wear it with a two tone gold wedding ring.

I have a rose gold wedding band that I wear with everything. I know some have more than one ring in different metals, but I’m stubborn and only want one. I wear it with my Tudor bronze and my Speedy, and the contrast in metals doesn’t bother me (or more importantly my fashion conscious wife) one bit

I don't think it matters that much. However, buying a new wedding ring is definitely cheaper than buying a new Rolex.

Would love to buy a GMT Root Beer but I think availability is going to be slim!
The photo from Hijinx doesn't look bad, I think mine looks worse match? (time wrong as I haven't worn it for 6 weeks). Is it possible to change the bezel colour and the inlay under hands? I'm guessing not feasible for the cost. Probably going to put this watch away until my lad turns 21 and give it to him for his 21st in 6 years time. Be a shame to sell it. |

I'm typically for matching metal colors, but wedding rings are in a category of their own.
I don't think you have to unless you want to... Or you could always swap the BLNR for the new CHNR SS/RG

I wear a gold wedding band on my left hand and a gold college ring on my right. I've done it this way for 7+ years (15 with the college ring) and never had a pearl clutcher stop me.

I’ve worn my yellow gold wedding ring every day for 30 years and never gave it a second thought until I ordered a CHNR a few weeks ago.
Last weekend my wife solved my dilemma when she surprised me with a rose gold wedding band to go with the new watch. She’s as sweet as she was the day I married her. |

If it bugs you that much...a MUCH CHEAPER option is to go get a SS ring to wear with your BLNR. if you haven’t worn a wedding ring in 18 yrs, I assume (maybe not) your spouse would be ok with it. JMO |

Just buy a new wedding band. My wife and I have been married 7 years and together for 12, we get new bands every 2-3 years. It's the symbol that matters not the material item.
