Serial # location on 2007 submariner Z
Hey guys, this is my first post here. I was wondering if someone can tell me if the serial number on late model submariner z is still located between the 6 o'clock horns.
I have a watch listed for sale and a potential buyer asked the question in such a manner as to suggest that on the later models it is no longer located in this position. I am not going to try to remove the band myself to check. I bought the watch brand new from an AD so I have no concern about the authenticity. I searched the history of the potential buyer who asked this question and he just purchased a rolex case back remover and press about a week ago. Makes me a little nervous to be honest, makes me wonder what he might be up too, possible switcharoo on the movement and return for refund. The serial number question threw me for a loop though, I have searched and can find nothing that indicates the serial number is not in the same spot it has always been. I appreciate your help. |

Model numbers and serial numbers are still located in the same place they have been for over 75 years..
The very latest models also have an etched serial number on the rehaut to foil counterfeiters....
