Blnr or Blro?
Both are fantastic. I won’t give a judgment as to which is better. But I’ve owned the BLNR, LN, and now the BLRO. They each offer something special and unique. Throw value retention out the window. Who knows? Just enjoy them for a lifetime and you will receive a 1000% return on your investment.

Batman. Not a fan of the jubilee bracelet.

Both are great. It just depends what you want. I think the BLNR is a bit more versatile (blue and black go with most everything and dress up a bit better) but the BLRO has the original GMT colors. Which bracelet do you like better? One thing in favor of the BLNR is that it's a bit less expensive in terms of list price and much, much easier to get.

Blnr or Blro?
I personally think BLNR is the most handsome GMT, can be dressy and goes nicely with your T-shirt or suit.
BLRO pushes more on the sporty side with blue and red, but jubilee dresses it up nicely. Can’t go wrong with either. The correct answer is both. Looking at mine right now: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pick up the BLNR as they are a little easier come by and add yourself to a "list" for a BLRO. You then can enjoy the BLNR while waiting for the BLRO to arrive, something to look forward to while you are enjoying your BLNR!

This is an entirely personal choice. Which colors do you prefer?
My personal opinion is that the BLNR works better for me, but I still think the BLRO is a beautiful watch. |

I think both watches are great and beautiful in their own ways...Maybe the question is what you can you get since both of these are hard to come by at the AD especially the new BLRO. I'd just get the one you can get/afford. If you're Rolex 1st timer then you will have a hard time to get the BLNR or next to impossible to get the new BLRO from your AD.
Good luck getting them. |

Blnr or Blro?
As many will advise, these watches are tanks and they’ll outlive is all!
Throw value retention out. Invest in stocks if you want a return. Try them both get the one you want. For me, I’ve never looked back since I got my BLNR Batman a year ago. But the new SS BLRO is a sensation here on TRF. If you want the BLRO, it’s worth waiting for. You’ll have to wait for the BLNR too, but not as long as it’s been out now for five years : ) Get what you want. And enjoy it. These are stupendous pieces and stunning watches. If you asked me a couple months ago I would not have been able to give you an answer, but after being able to sample, and compare the 2 I would lean to the Batman.

BLNR is less expensive than BLNO, it's a good option if you care about cost. BLNO is a good option as well. If possible, you get both of them.

Unless you have some special status with and AD your only option at retail is the Batman...not even worth bringing up the Pepsi...
But regardless both are cool can't go wrong with either. Based on current events the Pepsi seems like it has a huge edge on second hand value...I think this huge edge will eventually turn into a slight edge and stay that way...until they discontinue the Batman. |

I've got a 2001 GMT Pepsi (black and red) and bought a BLNR new earlier this year. Personally I think BLNR is a bit subtle where as the BLRO jumps at you. Both are amazing watches nevertheless. But to be candid, BLRO is the new Daytona in the making.. it may just be the fad.. but get what you really like!

They’re both great, but if I had to chose just one, I’d definitely go for the BLNO. I am not a fan of the Jubliee bracelet on the Pepsi. Save yourself a stack of high society and go with the (IMO) classic style and colors of the BLNO.

Personally I’d say that (I) I am VERY happy with my BLNR, and a year after I got it I still have a crazy smile every time I look at it; and (II) with that said I would still pick up a BLRO if I had viable access to one.
The inverse would also be true. Basically, both are great references to own and would complement each other very well with the BLNR being more subtle and the BLRO more out there |

Both are so beautiful. That blue on the BLNR gets me though. That would be my vote.

People are just going crazy over the BLRO because it's the new 'thing' as they do with all new things be it shoes, clothing etc... In my opinion the BLNR still looks nicer. In all the pics above the BLNR colour scheme just works beautifully. And like some I don't like the jubilee, I mean I do like the jubilee but on a DJ.
