177 is Titanium and has the second hand. Non hacking...

Depends.... Both are pretty cool. 176 is cleaner because it does not have the seconds hand.

I prefer the seconds hand. Hence, I have a 177. I have had mine since 2004 and it still looks great. I absolutely love it. Putting new straps on it has been a lot of fun!

Get the one that you will love 5 years from now!!
