? for the GMT Historians

When did the GMT go to the Big Hand?
I have a 67 Pepsi GMT and I am having it restored but there is some question about if the hand is the original or not.

When I purchased it I purchased it from the original owners son and he was under the impression that nothing was ever done to the watch and I think he is correct but the guy whose doing my restore (well known high end guy who said he will find out the specifics, just didnt know them off the top of his head as I caught him out of the office) isn't sure about the 24 hr hand... Has not question everything real Rolex but just not sure from the quick scan if its the original hands.

Jeremey, nothing with Rolex is set in stone. Generally I think it's safe to say the debut of the large 24 hr. hand occured around 1967. I've seen original examples with both. I can't remember a 1675 from 68 on with the small hand.

Thanks!
I was pretty sure everything was stock in this guy...

Sounds good to me.
