Think I have a problem.

Went to my AD recently to look into replacing my Black Sub Date I stupidly sold a few years ago. I got there, and there was no sports models on display. None! WTF?
After talking awhile with the sales man, I was able to convince him that I was serious, and was thinking of a sub no date, mostly because I love the clean look of no cyclops. He then let me know they may have one in the back room I could check out. I tried it, liked it and told him to give me a hour to think about it.
When I came back, with all intentions to buy the Sub ND, I learned they also had a TT Blue Sub they wanted to show me. That is the watch that drew me to Rolex in the first place, but I never owned one. I tried it on and it was all over. Being twice the money, my wife gave me the go ahead, and I bought it. I have no regrets about this purchase, and deep down I’ve been wanting one since the 90’s when I first saw it.
Here’s my problem. I still want the Sub ND. When does this stop?

It stops when you can’t justify the purchase. As long as you can justify....justify...justify.... you good.....

Sorry to break it to you, but it’s a pretty addictive hobby. The only antidote is to start buying Seikos and Casios.

Remove the cyclops on the bluesy and you will have the best of both worlds

Congrats!! Well, for being the same they are different enough to have both. You might as well get over with. If you don't want to spend so much the Tudor Black Bay or 58 is a good alternative

LOL. It’s starting to scare me, too. I just purchased my second Rolex two weeks ago (first purchase was last September) and I’m already thinking about how I would incorporate a third. I don’t think I’ll do it, but it still scares me that I’m thinking about it. And, I love my DJ41 and Sub date!

I say dump the Bluesy, get the 114060, and maybe something different, like a Panerai 778 or 655 (if you feel like spending twice as much as the 778)?

Remember that thread about how to know when you have a problem...Yeah that's you. The watch still smells like the AD and you're still in lust.
Honestly, I would probably have stayed the course and bought the 114060 and planned later for the Bluesy. The salesman were very smart lol. The two are too similar for me.
However, you have one beautiful watch, congrats. No pics..

I went with Bluesey because I got the “No Way” from the other half back in ‘98 when I first saw one while on a cruise. Plus it will be easier to go for the less expensive model down the road rather than a twice the $$$ model that is very similar to what I have. She just doesn’t understand. I sold my sub date only because I bought it w/o her approval and never heard the end of it.
I will have the ND in the next couple of years. I’ m working on it now. Lol

Next watch purchase, include a louis vuitton for her. She just might jump on board. That is what my brother did.
