Bloody Vancouver Snow

This is the first White Christmas, right across Canada, since 1971.
Around here, we might get 4 days with snow a year. This year, have had snow on the ground for about 11 days now & it's still coming down
Here are some shots around the house.
Wife's Z4, not going anywhere.

Must keept the entrance clear

Back deck, hot tub is clear, ready for some bodies later

Back parking, My car is supposed to be in that spot, but I couldn't get down the alley this morning.
In front of the CR-V, is my motorcycle.

There is no place left to put the snow

This is the alley I tried to drive down this
morning.

Off to shovel again.

That's crazy bro We average around 100" of the white sh!t every year. So far this year 39" has fallen. Normal avg for this time is 25" We're running out of places to put it also.

I can't ever remember plowing for as many consecutive days as I have this week. From last Fri until yesterday.

You have to find a place to keep the motorcycle in the winter

High today in Atlanta 63F, but rain. Snow is to play in, not live in. I hope it goes away soon for you guys stuck in it.

Kind of glad I'm not in Vancouver right now. Hah hah.

Not that Calgary is any better, and is in fact *much* colder.

My parents are getting hammered still in Seattle. They think it might break this weekend, but who knows? I hope it does because they are so sick of it it is not funny.

It was an ALL TIME RECORD for snow accumulation on the ground on Christmas Day here.
To top it off, it's snowing again right now. Another 15cm expected before it warms up tomorrow.
Expecting heavy rain & temps around 9 C tomorrow. It will BE UGLY, with flooding, if that weather system does arrive. All the strom drains are frozen over

I've just been told today the the roof on a friends business building in the city of London, Canada collapsed from the snow. $90,000 to fix it. I'll bet that made their day!

I'm loving the snow on Vancouver Island John.

By the way, here's a picture from the front steps of my in-laws on Boxing Day morning. You can barely see the road.
