Omega Planet Ocean Ceramic +£450 for Rolex Submariner Date Ceramic
I wonder if anyone can help me,
My friend has been offered a deal on his 2015 Omega Planet Ocean Orange Ceramic, The deal is his watch plus £450 for a 2015 Rolex Submariner Date. Both me and my friend think it is too good to be true. The seller has said the watch is real and he is moving away and wants a new watch quickly for his travels. below are some pictures of the watch if anyone can notice anything strange please let me know as i do not want to see my friend get ripped off. we have asked the seller to meet at local AD to have both watches checked before the swap happens but he said he will if he has time. Thank you in advance for your replies. |

Most UK ADs have no clue how to spot even a reasonable fake, never mind the better ones.
I'm sorry to say that I don't believe this Submariner to be correct. Quite separately (this is not the reason I comment about the watch as I do), the box interior and especially its cushion appears to be crudely made from recycled scarecrow underpants. If you're in the North West of England I'd happily entertain you at one of my shops, by arrangement but for no charge....so that we could have the seller hear it in person. Ask him if he bought it at a main agent himself and please report the answer here; it often reveals whether they know what they have, or not... (see https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=584622 ) Haywood

Fake. Rehaut engraving is rough. SELs extend past lugs, when they should be set in slightly behind lugs. Set the time and see which way the hands turn when you turn the crown

So, may we have some details of the seller? A name, a place he has advertised, a forum or ebay user name? It would seem fair to the forum perhaps to help other members avoid him, just as you were saved.
Did he say that he bought the watch at a main agent? Have you now told him the watch is fake?

The first pic is enough to tell it’s a fake, didn’t even look @ the other pics.

So, are you going to call the cops? Attempted theft of the cash difference and the omega.
‘Attempt to commit a particular crime is a crime, usually considered to be of the same or lesser gravity as the particular crime attempted. Attempt is a type of inchoate crime, a crime that is not fully developed. The crime of attempt has two elements, intent and some conduct toward completion of the crime.‘ |

Haywood - you are a super optimist. The OP is now barely 21 and for 2 years has mostly posted wrist shots before this thread. Millennials...there, I said it... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
