Tudor GMT Issue
I picked up the new GMT by Tudor about 6 weeks ago. I noted that it was running +7/day so I took it to RSC BH and they sent it to Dallas - apparently Dallas is the only RSC that works on Tudor. Anyhow, the watch came back 2 weeks later with absolutely nothing changed. Still at +7, the paperwork I received back was basically blank. Fast forward to a week ago. I noticed that the date had skipped TWO days. On the 8/3 when I woke up the watch said 8/5 in the date window. I thought, ok, weird and fixed it. The next day, on the 4th the watch said 8/6. I new at this time the watch needed to go back. Fast forward to this morning, I see this:
Not real happy at this point, but the watch is going back again |

Ah - the gmt date issue. Many of us have had it, me included. It’s apparently an over lubrication issue. Oddly mine has sorted itself out over time so maybe yours will too.
The fast running is not good however. Are they the only people who can service. They should take care of both. |

unlucky - still that is why new watches have warranties I guess - still I hate it when any of my "toys" don't work perfectly so I "feel your pain" and hope both issues are sorted for you very qickly

Mine does this as well. It will be sent off this weekend for service. Mine is keeping within spec time though.

Send it to RSC yourself. Eliminate the middleman.

I’ve only had mine for 5 days. It’s gaining 1.4 seconds/day (which is fine). The date appears to be fine so far, although the date change is pretty late (after 2am).

Same here, sent my watch back today.
The fact that they had your watch in Dallas and did not address the date issue is unacceptable. They're well aware of what's going on. |

Mine is working flawless and keeps time really well but it has weak print on the date wheel on 8 and 9 :(
I´ll have that sorted later. |

Sorry to hear about the difficulties - not a good start to ownership. I wonder if this issue is why the dealers in the UK are not getting any Tudors GMT until October. Perhaps they're developing a fix for the watches that were due to be delivered?

There are quite a few threads already related to date changing issue on these new GMTs.
Regarding the 7 seconds gain - the watch came back with nothing on the paperwork because it's running within spec. Tudor watches are COSC certified, which means an average of -4 to +6 seconds per day. Only Rolex watches are -2 tp +2. |

I have not had this issue but have noted several others who have. I believe they will sort it out but it is a pain.

One of the reasons why being an early adopter of anything new (in this case the movement) will always have issues.
Rolex/Tudor not performing proper tests before releasing new movements in recent times. |

Sorry to hear/see this. Unacceptable that RSC had the watch and did not inspect the date wheel since it is a known issue. Makes me wonder if better to wait until next year to purchase this model - maybe the kinks will be worked out by then. A $4,000 watch should not have these issues
