Kicking Myself

Was in Paris on Honeymoon a week ago. Went to a Caberet show, arrived early so went looking at some watch shops close by. I asked all if they had TT Skydweller to which no one had one, except the last shop. They did, AD. I asked about discount and as we were on honeymoon they agreed discount, plus VAT back, worked out around $13.5k. I did not have my debit card on me so they said they would hold till lunch the following day. I did not go back stupidly, and now I regret it big time, idiot that I am! I think a bit of guilt set in as I got a DD40 as a wedding gift, even though the wife was very happy for me to purchase Lesson learned, always have debit card on me!!!

Don't worry, they are easy to come by. I recently passed on white steel skydweller but I never regreted it because I wanted the blue and there is no point to compromise

well, why did you not go back ? Was it uncertainty over the purchase or some logistical reason ?
If you really, really wanted it that badly, I think you would have found a way to go and get it.
There will be others, relax enjoy the DD in the meantime.

It’s only a watch. Thank goodness it wasn’t a SS Daytona you passed on... (just kidding)

You will have a chance on another watch. You did not buy it for a reason so just roll with it. No regret.

This is like being upset for not eating the hot dog you got offered after a banquet.

I passed through Schipol on Thursday. Checked out the Rolex AD between flights thinking I might get lucky and find a couple pieces I’ve had my eye on.

The place looked like it had been robbed. Nothing but a few DJs and a stray ladies YM.

You have the DD40. Enjoy the double honeymoon and stick around here long enough we might be able to talk you out of the two tone
