dd40 hr reserve
ive read that the dd40 has an hr reserve of 70hrs
I find that when I take it off and let it sit for 2 days and wind it on day 2 or close today 3 the power reserve wont last 70hrs is this normal? does it work when its been on a wrist and then taken off? |

I think the sure way to test it would be to fully wind it 40 turns, you can't over wind it if you go more and just let it set. It should run close to 70hrs. give or take an hour or two. Wearing it on your wrist will not fully wind the movement.

The power-reserve is after a full manual wind, it will need 60 plus full crown turns clockwise only as it has a longer mainspring. After a full manual wind should run for around 70 hours or so, give or take a hour or so while off wrist before stopping.

60x or a bit more. This is FULL 360 turn, not just a single winding 'flick' .
