Yachtmaster 2 for My 30th Birthday!!!

So my father won a Yachtmaster 2 from a Chevrolet Sales Contest in October 2016. We own a Chevrolet dealership. I was fortunate to attend the trip in Chicago it was a blast. Well Chevrolet Awarded 50 Customized Rolex Yachmasters as well as a Womens datejust if they wished for some woman dealers. The watches were customized by Bamford Watch Department. George Bamford was there to present them and help each person size and explain the watches he was awesome. I love his work. Anyways fast forward to last sunday and my father passed the watch down to me for my 30th Birthday. I was very surprised and excited. Here are a few pics hope you enjoy.

Yeah Bamford did a great job just adding minimal touches like the bezel and chevy bowtie on the face and there are chevy bow ties on the links. I am glad they didnt go too crazy with customization.

Happy Birthday!

That is such a cool looking YM 2!

I understand a jeweler can inscribe the Chevrolet chevron logo, but they can also create a custom ceramic bezel? Or did Rolex produce that cerachrom bezel at the factory?

What an amazing gift, and what a way to always remember your father. Enjoy!

Congratulations and happy birthday

I didn’t realize Rolex would modify the cerachrom bezel ... I thought that would be way too involved

Very nice. Wonder why Chevy chose to give out yachtmasters of all the options. I would think they would do a chrono of some sort.

They were modified after market by Bamford.

Just a guess, but Oct. 2016 was right when the new Ceramic Daytona came out ... getting their hands on 50 of them might not have been an option.

Also, the YMII is a chrono.
