Found in a drawer..

Found this last year while helping my mother have a tidy up, my late father was very interested in watches and used to repair/service them himself... back when parts were easily available *cough Rolex cough*

So can anyone tell me anything about it? It seems quite an early model, I’m quite tempted to hunt out the missing parts a attempt to get it ticking again

I forgot to mention, It was in an old tobacco tin along with a lot of parts hence me being tempted to have a go at putting it back together

Hello, Ive seen similar watches that are WW1 officers trench watches, the hinged case is silver, I'm with you in regards to getting it going again as it looks fair enough and deserves to be preserved for the next generation, all the best with your project, "H"

Looks like the balance is missing (along with the pallet fork, whose bridge is loose/upside-down). Balance and hairspring are not the easiest things to find / fix... Maybe just find a nice way to display it on a shelf.
