new lense + ALS datoR

was lucky enough to score a new macro lense for my smartphone.... and oh ya, this rose gold datograph too.

a few (a lot, actually... sorry!) shots to commemorate (to test, really) the new lense!

Best view in horology imho, just wish the watch could be Reverso-ed as I prefer the caseback view.

the caseback view is definitely a wonder of the world.
but quite enjoying the dial and constantly staring at (but not paying attention to) the time. the big date window and flyback function are a joy.

Gorgeous pics of a gorgeous watch! Nice you got that lens, to really do justice to that beautiful watch/movement.
Cheers,

Beautiful timepiece.
Those shots have come out so well, it's hard to imagine a clip on lens for a smartphone could do so well. Good photographer and amazing subject.

thanks much, and all credit to the clip-on lense and the phone cam. not much 'photography' involved on my end other than staying very steady and pressing a button.
and this was done in my living room area with a window behind me during an overcast morning! i do think better lighting would make the shots even greater.

will have to do some more test shots on other pieces.
all said, i would recommend this lense attachment to anyone - i was highly doubtful at first, but am now overwhelming delighted.

Amazing !!!!

German manufacturing at its absolute finest. Would love to see more pics of that stunning movement.
