My New Datejust 41

Datejust II with Roman Ghost dial. I’ve owned several Rolex sport watches but this is my very first Datejust. I was vacillating between getting a black dial with diamond markers for more contrast.

The ghost dial is more subtle and grew on me.

What do you guys think?

Congrats! I love that dial, it really adds character, diamonds seem too much like jewelry to me. I just purchased the slate w/roman over the silver dial (sight unseen) I wasn't 100% until it came in person then knew immediately it was the right choice for me.

I agree on diamonds in general. I could barely tell they were diamonds. I initially thought they were just light colored markers. I just appreciate the higher contrast legible markers.

Beautiful watch, would have never considered that combination before, but wow I'm speechless.

Great watch wear it whenever you can, as every day you do will be a slightly better day!
