The EXP II survived and welcomes home....

:joy Well I finally took the plunge on what must surely be the final watch to complete my collection, now standing and staying at three (not including the Polar RS800 heart rate watch but that’s another animal altogether), I simply have no desire for anything else….honest.

The Surprise from all this is I opted for the AP below and not my original choice of a full SS “Themes” model, if you ever strapped one of these Rubberclad babies on then you will know why this came home and nothing else….it has a very different look and feel to Rolex and is as comfortable to wear (maybe more) and is SIMPLY STUNNING imo.

What has ROLEX to do with this, well on a former thread I was about 90% down the road in selling on my EXP II as I felt it would simply be a waste to own the new AP, GMT IIC and an EXP II. However after some strong opinions from this forum that luckily did not happen and it has to be said I can see situations where the EXP II will still get wrist time. At the end of the day its another great watch that I'm relieved I have now kept.

Now for the hard part ………..informing the wife and hoping she will really believe this is the end to these beautiful but has to be said expensive time pieces.

Happy new year everyone its going to be mighty interesting

As usual my apologies for some of the picture qualities.....can you guess which two shots do not belong to me?
