Rolex Day-date II on Ebay

Finally caught my same watch up for sale on ebay.. I was wondering why the listed MSRP the seller states is lower than the MSRP all of the AD's have in the usa.. This Auction is from the UK.. Are rolex watch prices cheaper in the UK than here? The price the seller has stated it will rise up to after the price increase in more close to the current retail price here which is $27,880.00

The seller also states that there are only 6 actual black dial DDII's out for sale in the world right now.. can that be right?

Not sure if i can post a link here or not but please do search DDII on ebay and let me know if what the seller has posted is accurate?

BTW it is the only on for sale on ebay that I have seen in the past 3 weeks... i think it is the first to be posted..

On eBay seller usually put 3% additional on their selling price then plus eBay fees and final value fee..so let's say for example you bought your watch $100 then you want to sell it at $200..from the $200 you add 3% plus your final value fee and insertion fee..so if the price is $20k go do the math...

thats not what i was asking...

I was saying the MSRP they have stated in their auction listing is lower than the MSRP here in the USA... is the US more money on their rolex watches MSRP?

Not only that but the seller is stating their are only six available at this point in the world with black dials..
that can't be true

First of all the msrp is in pounds sterling, and yes rolex has a different price structure (MSRP) for every region of the world. Then there is the exchange rate etc the British Pound is almost at parity with the Euro, hopefully it goes lower. Years ago you could roughly buy a Rolex for 1/2 of US MSRP in Hong Kong, not too long ago you could save 30% by buying in China.
