Tudors

Just recently reading a thread about a Tudor chrono got me thinking I must have one. I know they are not sold in the US so what is the best way to get my hands on one? Does anyone know what the SS Chrono sells for on a new and used but good condition recent model? Thanks

BP

I recently bought a 79280 NOS Tudor Tiger Chrono off Ebay for 2k a few months ago. Its essentially a 'Daytona' with a date for 1/4-1/5 the cost.

I'd agree e-bay is your best bet but always 'buy the seller' not just the watch. There's a few sellers who only sell mid-high end watches and as such should be a safe bet. If they ever sold a fake it would ruin their business.

Exactly, also checking their feedback can be helpful! To be honest i wouldn't mind buying a tudor from ebay in the future, there are some good deals on them by the sellers you mention there!

I have been looking for a Tudor chrono for a while and the majority of them seem to appear on ebay or in the TRF classifieds.

Owing to the fact they are becoming a bit more known there are more 'replica's' around. That unfortunately go's with the territory.

My watch procurer will not touch them despite several heated debates so its carry on hunting for me

Best of luck

Si

The more modern ones are yes. (from the 70's onwards approx.)
