16610 authenticity check please
Hi all,
I'm looking at picking up a 16610. Found this example which seems to be in decent condition for its age (early 2000s, lug holes with SEL bracelet). No certificate so I can't easily verify authenticity before purchase. Since I'm not too familiar with the 5 digit Sub (only owned 6 digit watches before), I just wanted to check in with the experts here to make sure everything looks kosher and I'm not overlooking anything. I've been burned in the past so even though the seller has solid feedback I want to be extra careful. Also, does this case look unpolished? The chamfers look mostly intact to my untrained eye, but I'm not positive. Thanks! |

It's kosher. I like the condition, sharp edges.

Looks really good, but for heavens sake, remove that septic looking caseback sticker if you get it.
