Which Daytona?

I'm thinking of adding a Daytona to my collection. I am open to SS, TT and PM on a strap or a bracelet. I prefer the non-ceramic bezel models and lighter colored dials. Which configuration would you choose? Yes, I love chronographs!

I voted white gold. Since I'm spending someone else's money, why the heck not?

SS 116520. White dial. The rising & shining star. Might as well get it now and enjoy before price hits the roof.

I recently analyzed this subject. Due to the illogical market we find ourselves in, and one just five years ago would make zero sense, it seems that people have convinced themselves that steel is more valuable than wg gold. Over and over i checked prices in identical dial daytonas in both wg and ss, finding either an almost equal or, max 10% wg supplement. You guys must see that the bottom has to fall out of ss and that wg will, in the future, be worth much more. What do you think?

Why don’t you consider RG as well? Any particular reason? Toned down in comparison to YG and different from all whitish metals you got already.

Someone may have mentioned already, but strange to do survey asking for watch material or bracelet/strap type in same question.

Try to find one with legibility, which is the biggest challenge for this from my perspective.

Very nice collection,
I would go for SS Daytona, black or white, I personally prefer it black but both are great watches.

SS Daytona Ceramic with the white dial if you can get it at msrp. WG if you have to pay Grey Market prices for the SS. Always on a bracelet for me.

Based on what you say (non ceramic, light dials), I would suggest the SS 116520 white or the WG 116509 on oyster or 116519 on oyster (silver dial, see first pic in post #2)

These are two great non-ceramic choices. I love the look and feel of WG in the Daytona. I myself am partial to the 116519 on OF, or the blue 116509, but you're looking for non-ceramic and lighter dial color. So Richard's choices would be my pick as well.

Or, of course, a nice white 116520 would also fit into your collection very nicely.
