Rolex 1002 Dial Size
Hi,
i have a 1967 Rolex 1002 with a refinished Explorer dial with Mercedes hands... For some reason, the fact that it is refinished is bothering me, and I didn't think that it would when I purchased it. I'd like to buy a used original dial as well as used/vintage hands. My 1002 has a 1570 movement. What size is the dial on the 1002? What is the part number for the hands? I've scoured the internet, and couldn't find the exact size. In addition, I couldn't locate any places that sell them. Can anyone recommend someone or a website that might have them. Thanks for your time! |

I thought the 1002 was an Oyster Perpetual? Yours was switched to an Explorer dial?

Yes, "refinished"...
The original dial was repainted to look like an explorer dial. |
