How Maria Sharapova screwed me!!
Hi guys,
Remember the other day when I posted pics of "Why I love the French Open" and pics of that delicious tennis star, Maria Sharapova? Well, I made the BIG mistake of clicking on one of her "wallpapers" after I did a Google search. She came in alright, but brought along with her half a dozen TROJAN HORSE viruses too!! My Mozilla Firefox is well and truly screwed. I'm typing this from Internet Explorer. Poor, patient Padi spent more than an hour with me over SKYPE trying to run me through a clean-up programme, but nothing worked. Hopefully, tomorrow a guy will be coming in to fix the problem. If he has to take away my systems unit, then you guys will not hear from me for the time it takes him to fix it. So don't be naughty while I'm away.... Cheers - JJ

Don't you have a good anti-virus program running? Up to date? And something of a firewall? You must have this now a days, especially if your PC is connected directly to the Internet. There are good programs that are free, so it needn’t cost a bundle. It will only get worse, Trojans are being developed for and by criminals to steal personal data or to secretly use your PC as a zombie, pumping out e-mails and Trojans. The first effective cross-platform viruses are starting to emerge too. It costs my company (our branch) $38,000 a year in license fees alone, plus the investments in the firewalls, etc. I signed the receipt just this week. So it must be billions each year worldwide. All lost turnover and income.
