New TT sub blue dial

Hello everyone,
I just purchased this week my first Rolex, and I am in love. I have been reading through all the posts about authenticity and I noticed that my new Sub does not have the etching at the 6:00 area. The watch was purchased from a very reputable NYC AD with all the papers.
I did notice the engraved rolex around the inside bezel. Has Rolex changed the etched glass process or is it that its difficult to see with the naked eye?

very difficult to see the first time
once you have found it you see it all the time

the best way is to hold the watch up at eye level and looking into the 6 o'clock position across the face of the dial (if that makes sence) just in the right light you can see it
or get a loupe

If its post 2000 it should have the etching, look again in the daylight with a jewellers loupe, they are very hard to see!

Found it!

Thanks for the quick replies. I put under a task light and I found it. It is very difficult to see it with the naked eye unless you get it at the right angle.
