Advice on Chicago area watch traders
I am looking to sell my White Gold Special Edition and have not seen much favorable activity on eBay and am looking to find a trader in the Chicago area who might offer me a fair price.
Does anyone have a watch dealer in the Chicago area that might be worth approaching with the watch? I am looking to complete the transaction this week and as much as I would like to receive a value consistent with a private party sale, my time frame will not allow for escrow service, etc... I just want to find a fair dealer and sell the watch. Anyone you might recommend? I would appreciate any ideas... |

You might want to check out Old World Jewlers, they are out of Oak Brook. Their website is ewatchshow.com. I have not sold to them, but I have been looking to buy from them, and from their site, they do buy Rolex. Just a thought.....

Howard Frum Jewelers. Downtown Chicago, suite 814, in the Maller's Building at 5 S. Wabash.
He is the King of used Rolex in this town. Bought my DT from him 7 years ago. He buys and sells. I never sold to him, but call him first, tell him what you have and see what he will offer you. He also might do a trade with you. Good Luck! |

Thanks for the replies
Just wanted to thank everyone for the replies. I contacted both Howard Frum and Old World today. In reply to the question about what a special edition is, go to the Rolex site and look under models for special edition. Thanks again...
