Is AD telling me bs

Was looking in AD today and noticed a couple of ladies dj and an airking with discount of £500-600, next to them had a sign saying shop soiled. When I asked whats wrong with them was told by the sales woman nothing it is their way of getting round giving discounts, the only thing wrong was very light scratches and they would get them done free of charge. Funny thing was they also had the pink gold daytona at £18,000 and she said could put that through as shop soiled and give a 10% discount, so is this BS I am being told and would I have got the £500-600 or the 10% if I had just asked. Please don't ask for name of dealer as it was one of about six I looked in down Oxford Street, and like an idiot did'nt think of taking down the name.

ernest jones bluewater had an explorer 11 sold as shop soiled, this was on saturday last weekend, they gave 40 % of the retail price, this was a good bargin for someone, i spoke to one of the managers who told me why on the price, and the watch did not hang around very long, one of the staff wanted it but it sold to quickly, for him to react.

No as said in my thread this was in Oxford Street but could have been one of their branchs there, as I said don't know name of shop as forgot to look or write it down. But thanks for that info on Bluewater might take a look there as only 20mins away from me.
