Rolex white gold surrouned hour markers

Hi all,

I have just received a call from RSC that they find some glue residue around the hour markers of my 16618. They suspect the dial is not genuine as they never use glue on the dial. I am just wondering if those hour markers are glued onto the dial?

Thanks!

The magnifier is glued to the outside of the crystal. It would have no effect on the dial or hour markers.

They should be able to judge if the dial is genuine or not in other ways.

Yes, I have the same thought. I think there can be a lot of reasons why there are glue marks next to the indices

Its not unknown for markers to fall off the dial, maybe an independent watchmaker has had a go at fixing it!?!
