How about a Daytona or Skydweller?

Depends on price range you’re looking for but I think the white gold Daytona (blue dial or on oyster flex). Or even just an SS would be a good addition. As for skydweller you can’t go wrong with any model!

Btw awesome lineup!!! Absolutely love that olive day date!

Something with complications - maybe an AC or PC

Patek or AP maybe — but based on the current market - I’d be looking at Jaeger, Lange, Journe and Vacheron too.

Good luck!!

How about something Blue?

Blue dial 116622, Blue dial Sky Dweller, Bluesy or Smurf (depending on how much you want to spend)

I'll admit a degree of bias in suggesting JLC, but I figured it's a safe idea since you're open to Richemont with the IWC. Have you looked into anything from them yet?

Have thought about solid yellow gold sub, but don’t see myself wearing it.

Feel like I ‘need’ a gold dress watch - just not sure it will get much play time.

The Pateks I want are out of reach, RO APs just don’t do it for me

Nah i actually think there different. The subs not as flashy, plus the BNLR's bezel with the blue probably clashes with outfits I'd imagine. Or you could just get crazy and scout out a hulk That'd be totally different!

Again, some bias here but I'm loving my Reverso and it's certainly different from anything else you have.

Otherwise, Master Control Date (standard or sector dial), something from the Master Ultra Thin line (date, small seconds, moonphase), all of which are under $9k in stainless. Master Calendar is about $10k, but at that point I'd rather spend the extra ~$1500 and get the meteorite dial- saw one in person and it might be my realistic grail piece.

I know you said AP Royal Oak doesn’t do it for you but have you tried it on if not I would suggest you do before writing it off. If you’re looking to stay around that 12k I would say Daytona if u can get your hands on 1.

YG sub would be my vote. Maybe a RG Daytona. Happy Hunting.

+1 for a Reverso if you would like something a little more formal. If you don't need that sort of watch I think you've got it covered.

Feels like you have Rolex dress watch covered with your DD40 (my favorite one by the way - love it) and two tone DJ. I’d go for something that you don’t have to add variety. Gold (yellow or rose gold) dress watch from JLC (or IWC) would be my suggestion

Agreed--my words exactly. The AP is a stunner on the wrist. The Daytona would round things out as well.

A white dial would be a good add.
