I was 7 when my dad died in an aircrash at the age of 33 ( he was an airforce pilot). I inherited one of his two precisions.

Great Question!

IN FACT Ayeya it would be a great idea if you did a poll!! with age brackets..i.e. (below 16, 17-23, 24-30, 31-34, 35-39, etc...

I was 29 when I bought my first Rolex!

My first Rolex, a 5513 Sub was a present from my parents, for my 18th birthday, in 1966.

wow a lot of young Rolex owners out there. i just pulled money out of stock market recently and bought myself a SS 116520 white dial. i figured investing in the watch beats the hell out of investing in the stock market right now.

28...my 16613 blue was my present to myself for finishing grad school.

...on a similar note - I purchased a sub for my brother at 25 when he finished college and I am planning to get a ladies dj for my better half soon as she is about to finish grad school as well. I try to embrace Rolex's idea of "a crown for every achievement.." especially since I am a MAJOR advocate of higher education
