Audemars Piguet 15500

Just received my 15500 from the boutique yesterday and thought I’d snap some pics to compare it to my 15300. More photos to come later but I am quite pleased with the new design. Missed going to SIHH this year to see it in the metal however in person the watch has a bit more metallic shine than the 15300 and 15400 which are more matte in the hue of blue. Will post more feedback later, still in my “getting to know her” phase.

Congrats! What size wrist do you have? Curious to see how it would fit on mine.

Double congrats, great pair to have! Personally looking at both I think 40mm is the optimum size for this RO series.

I picked one up yesterday and have to say I'm very pleased with it. A couple of (not very good) pics in the RO 15500 Availability thread.

Congratulations!

Really interested to hear your view on this as I really only got the Royal Oak on my mind just after the 15300 was discontinued and that was the perfect RO for my wrist. The 15400 was just too big and this coming from someone that will wear a 47mm Panerai.

I don't understand how a 15400 or 15500 can be too big if you are happy to wear a huge 47 Panerai?

It’s something to do with the “tallness” of the 15400. The fixed end link make it hang outside my wrist. The Pancras while a wide SOB, isn’t as tall.

I know exactly what you mean as a I have a PAM also. Not sure I agree on the tallness as the 15400 is not that tall imo.

Yeah I’m not sure. I can’t figure it out!
All I know is that it doesn’t work on my wrist which is a real shame as I really like the Royal Oak :)

Looks awesome.

That first pic makes it look quite large, or I guess it makes the 15300 look pretty small

The end links make the watch wears bigger than a 41mm. I know what you mean!
