Question about 1984 OP Datejust
Hi All,
I recently inherited a 1984 Datejust. I was wondering if Rolex is likely to service this watch? The booklet says 16030/8649835. (I'm somewhat new to watches, although I'm enjoying getting into it, I don't know what movement is in it). Thanks for any replies and insight. |

Rolex will service any Rolex watch that they still stock the parts for. A 1984 watch is a pretty new watch, in Rolex terms.

Thanks for the reply. That's good to know, as I've heard of people talking about their watches being sent back due to lack of parts.

On the other hand, a 16030 from 1984 is certainly in vintage territory, and you might want to retain its originality and collectible value ... instead of replacing parts.

A quick phone-call is all it takes to know.
