State of the collection:trade or stand pat

Looking for opinions from my fellow TRF members on current state of my collection which includes a GMT BLNR and Sub LV.

I’m currently on the list at my AD for a SS BLRO (which were all hopeful is sometime this year).

More recently, I’ve been thinking of going for a Skydweller with blue dial (ref#326934) or D-Blue (ref#126660).

I could trade the LV and BLNR for the blue Skydweller and put some extra cash towards the BLRO when available.

I could also trade the BLNR only towards either the Skydweller or D-Blue since I think having two GMT’s once the BLRO comes in might be a little redundant.

I’ve had the chance to try both the Skydweller blue dial and D-Blue at a Rolex AD who had both in pre-owned condition and think both are spectacular pieces.

Has anyone faced a similar scenario and what are your thoughts on the above?

Thanks in advance!

I’ve had thoughts about trading my BLNR up for something else. But your post is a bit all over the place (no offence). I think you need to decide exactly what you want before moving forward

Thanks! I guess the option I’m most considering is would you move both the BLNR and Sub LV for a blue dial Skydweller and put the extra cash towards the BLRO?

I personally wouldn't. I own both the BLNR and the LV. I love the BLRO and it has grown on me since its release. Were one more readily available at MSRP without a long wait, I'd consider it. There just isn't enough there to motivate me to get rid of my BLNR (in any sort of trade arrangement). I'd just save and add. We can go on all day about what will be more valuable in the future, but I do believe the BLNR (while not the "newest" GMT any longer) will be regarded as an important transitional model. It will forever be the first bicolor ceramic bezeled GMT-Master II in stainless steel. To me, that's pretty cool.
