Is the Frosted Gold 26331BC a ladies watch?
I have not seen this watch in person but from pictures I really like it. I'm am wary that it may be too feminine. It is 41 mm so it is not small.
The open works version of the frosted white gold is simply not attainable for me. |

I think a little too frou frou for me, altho if I had a ton of watches this would be an interesting place filler, it certainly has its own look.

In general, frosted gold seems feminine, however, in 41mm, it might be added to a man's collection. If you like it, get it. Who cares what anyone else thinks.

The frosted gold always seemed feminine to me until I was at the boutique in Vegas a couple years ago and the sales lady brought one out for me to look at and I was blown away. I would totally rock one if it was in my budget however, I wouldn't personally want one with a purple dial.
I'm pretty sure it's a unisex watch though. In fact, Conkers posted it on his Instagram (conkers1971) a few days ago. |

I'm seriously contemplating this for myself.
Any thoughts? Is it really too flashy? Does anyone have any experience with frosted versions and how resilient they are to scratches? My thinking is that scratches should essentially be invisible. I'm seeing it in the flesh in a week or so, but would really appreciate any feedback as to wear and tear and any other aspects of frosted that may not be apparent. Thanks. |

I was able to play with this watch today. I had expected it to be too 'blingy' but actually it was more discreet than I had anticipated, although it does have a 'rock star' persona. I actually said no to it at the time, but now I'm not so sure. I'm not normally so indecisive, which is probably a sign that my 'no' is correct, nevertheless the doubt still lingers.
Whatever your thoughts, this is great watch and I think it's totally enhanced by the frosted finish, and the purple is a dark purple rather than a lighter shade, so the face itself isn't even that 'loud'. If you've got the presence to pull it off then it'll be awesome, but equally, it can be less than 'in your face' if so desired. As to scratches, then minor nicks and scratches will definitely disappear into the frosted finish, but a proper deep scratch won't be able to be polished out, so if like me, you'd want to wear this on a daily basis and subject it to the rigours of normal life then you have to take damage into account, and for me this is the main reason why I'm most likely going to make my choice based on my head rather than my heart. |

No question, it’s definitely an XX watch, not XY.

I get lots of positive comments on my frosted 41 for sure, but understated it is not!
