Men that wear Cartier Tank
The Cartier Tank will always have a special place in my heart , owned a few before , picking up a Francaise in a few days (large automatic) . My question is would you wear a tank ? Some think it’s feminine but I think it’s elegant and drops well . Wearers have included Muhammad Ali , JFK , Mick Jagger , Warren Beatty , Clark Gable , Andy Warhol , Louis Cartier .

Not feminine at all IMO. To me its the classic dress piece. I have the Tank XL.

I’ve tried on the Tank MC and Americaine and would definitely wear those if I owned one. I wasn’t a big fan of the Solo automatic. The proportions felt off when I tried it.

The Cartier Tank is about as classic of a watch as one can get. I don't own one but I would have no problem wearing one.

I have one. When I look at it in my watch box, I always think I should wear it more often. When I do wear it, I feel a bit underwhelmed. Thus, I probably wear it 3-4 x per year. Just my opinion and YMMV of course.

On the hunt for a Tank XL on leather. I wear suits almost daily and fell in love.

The tank Louis cartier extra flat is super nice , same movement as found in my Cintree. Comes in large. I found this one very tempting.

They are cool watches. Thought about getting one instead of my reverso. I really like the Louis Cartier and Cintree.

Reverso’s are nice watches and imho the closest competitor to the tank. Each with long history and the natural choice when you reach the moment that round just won’t do

Beautiful dress watch. I don’t own one but have a reverso. As others have said, square and rectangular watches wear differently from round watches, so you might try a few on first for the right fit

I personally find the tank feminine but I’m really big and burly. I do NOT feel the same about the XL and think I’d be fine with that. But if the tank feels fine on your wrist, a little femininity isn’t a problem bc it’s still a gorgeous classic watch

I'm buying one by end of year. I think it's class all the way. I wear suits daily so should compliment nicely.

I had one but it was a bit small for me, now I'd get the one above.
