Honest opinions guys please

Hi all

Was offered this today & I just can’t make up my mind if I should buy it or not & would love for you guys with your knowledge & experience to give me any pros or cons of the watch.

I know some will say ‘it’s your choice and that’s all that matters’ but I’m such an indecisive guy it’s unreal ha ha.

I said the same about my explorer which I now love!

Thanks in advance! Name: IMG_4828.jpg

This is very similar to your Explorer. What else do you have?

List your pros and cons and it will soon become clear which is stronger, or we can tell you.

Then if I were in your shoes I’d forget about a Milgauss. Take your time....try to want something more different to your Explorer.

Pros:

Love the orange touch on black dial

The polished centre links

The relative simplicity but quirkiness of the lightning bolt

Cons:

Milgauss doesn't seem to get much love from what I've seen.

If I was ever to move it on in the future I'm not sure it would be very sought after? I'm not a flipper but I get bored after a few years.

Is it seen as a downgrade from the gv green model? (I like it but a tad too colorful for me)

I like that watch, but it is similar to your Explorer stated by Snow-Dweller. Not sure if that matters to you.

It’s a lovely watch. Who cares what love it gets or doesn’t get, it’s about how it makes you feel.

If you like it, get it. If you don’t, don’t.

But it’s a lovely watch.

Just follow your heart.

For me it’s boring to be paired with explorer..

Snow I'm inpatient as well as indecisive

Bluf - I'm cool with either as plenty of differences imo (colours, polished links etc)

Nairobi - I know what you mean but I wouldn't like a watch everyone dislikes regardless if I liked it or not but it's a fair point.

My $0.02. The whole lightening bolt second hand feels very "comic bookish" to me. But I guess this is supposed to be the "nerdy science tech guy" Rolex, so it's probably on brand. I generally like a black/silver/white/orange color combo, but this particular watch does zero for me. So I vote NO. Damn, I love being decisive for indecisive people. Good luck.

Very similar to the Explorer. I’m currently wearing a sub and a date which makes a great rotation. Completely different looks, weights and feels on the wrist.

If you aren’t sure you want something, you probably shouldn’t buy it.

I agree but i said the same with the explorer (was it too plain, do I really like it etc) now I love the watch!

As I say mate just indecisive. I go in a shop for food and walk around for half an hour

If you created this thread and soliciting feedback, the watch perhaps is not for you. Likely you were not looking at Milgauss however someone offered you and now you're trying to justify it.

If that's the case you may have buyers remorse later on.

It’s a pass for me. If I’m going Milgauss it will be the Z blue.

I'd save those funds for something else if you already have an Exp. If you're set on the Milgauss I'd go with one of the other dials.
