Thank you Rolex Forums!

As a new guy here, I took my time to read a bunch of relevant posts, who the trusted sellers are, how to pay etc etc. I ended up buying a 50th anniversary Sea Dweller from David SW, paid via Paypal and opened the box in front of the FedEx guy.

All went smoothly, I got the watch I wanted at a fair price and no surprises thanks to the advice of this board. A little homework here paid off with no glitches.

Cheers!

I echo lear60man's sentiment. There are so many things this forum gives me: of course great details and info, but also inspirational stories and pics I never thought I needed (your watch and your sneakers for example). With all the snarky and cynical comments on other platforms, I am thankful for the group of enthusiasts that the founders built here. Cheers...

I echo the above. This forum is a great resource to learn and exchange information with other passionate watch enthusiasts. The sarcastic posts will always make up a small percentage, but for the most part, the topics and discussions posted are usually worth a read. Thanks to all you contributers! Let's keep it going.

I agree. This board has been a fantastic source of info for buying a Rolex. When I bought my first from Takuya a few years ago this site was pivotal. The down side is the enabling that comes from wanting even more watches and always having people encouraging to get more. Not that any of us mind that part... just our respective spouses
