Do you think does it deserve the name "Batgirl" ?

Hi guys !

Yesterday i was reading a topic here and some people talking about the Jubilee BLNR as "BATGIRL" ...

The Jubilee Pepsi is magnificent but if we are talking about the Batman , for me the original BATMAN is the Oyster BLNR which i believe looks more beautiful then the Jubilee BLNR ...

My question is ;

The new Jubilee BLNR deserves the name "BATGIRL" as some people already calling her ?

Dont think any AD will accept to acknowledge that nickname if you come in and ask for the Batgirl.

It'll be Batman on jubilee or as some others have suggested, the dark knight. However, AP already has a Dark Knight watch (the upgraded vampire)

No! Who on God's green earth decided the Jubilee bracelet was for girls? Does anyone even know Batgirl? 'Hey, nice Batgirl.' - Yeah good luck.

What I can't understand is why people are calling it that when the jubilee gives it a vintage not feminine vibe. A mix of modern and vintage if you would.

Very valid point

TRF is just a roaming ground for discussion about which trophy watches and grey dealers.

Seems to have lost its soul a bit.

It all came when Rolex ushered in the shiny new ceramic models with their chunky cases.

I'm a huge watch fan, am avid collector but the fun of collecting rolex is almost gone as of recent. I know plenty of people would wave me off... but i do miss the discussions around tool watches and movements.

Everything is now about how my watch looks against my porsche steering wheel and what the wait time is for the new BLRO...

Agreed, don’t seem to see any of the older posters anymore, where has Dr Tom gone?

Rolex has become about greed now, very sad.

Seriously.

The tone and themes have changed drastically the last few years.

The sad thing is that it's only going to get worse as more new people join.

+1. It used to be about collecting watches. Now it's mainly about trading pork bellies, and about as interesting.

Padi, you and I have had a lot to disagree about over the years but I think you and I can stand together on this one.

Remember the good old days when we discussed Rolex and not money and availability ?
