Incoming SD43

Got a call from my AD to see if I wanted one. I was intrigued, so wanted to check it out. I was just about to pull the trigger on another SD4K, as I’m trying to find one in mint condition.

First reaction was that it is huge. But I love the tapered lugs and matte dial. And the touch of red.

After wearing it a couple days, I’m starting to get used to it. I’ve found I have to wear it tighter than my subs, which seem like toys in comparison.

I really like it. Just hope it doesn’t look silly on me.

Usually you have to wear watches with heavy heads snug. Otherwise, they’re more likely to move around. Watch looks great, I wouldn’t worry about how it looks on you.

Only you can decide if it looks silly. I hope you don't decide it does.

It's a bold, beautifully proportioned time piece. Congratulations!

Looks great! It’s always hard to tell how a watch really looks from up close pictures. That’s why I always like seeing wider shots. But even up close it looks good on your wrist!

Congratulations. I have owned all of the Rolex divers over the years and the SD43 is the watch I would have designed, not as well as Rolex though. The size, bracelet, dial with the red text and even the cyclops work for me. I really like the Submariner-C ND but my Tudor Black Bay fits the collection in a better way for a fraction of the money. I also own a Hulk but it is about the green with it. Enjoy.

Congrats, the proportions are so good. Can't tell how it really looks from that close up photo, but seems ok.
