You’ll find very little love for Hublot on this forum, and RM isn’t universally appreciated either – combining the two in the shape of the SoBB is almost guaranteed to have members paying it little to no attention whatsoever.
That said, it matters to just one person what is thought of a particular brand/model, and that’s the buyer/owner.

As always, if it has captured your attention, and you can afford to write-off 50% of the purchase cost (should you ever decide to later move it on), then get it and enjoy the feeling it provides every time you strap it on or look at it in the watch box.

I can tell LOL, I’m definitely looking in the pre-owned market but owners seem to try to be holding onto every penny when selling their spirit of the Big Bang.

I think there aren’t very many made and who knows how many actually sell. Pre-owned, I’ve recently seen the 45mm version in the $10-11k USD range but they are huge. The 42mm is $15k. So they act like most non-Rolex/AP/PP watches in that they lose value.

I’ve always been a big fan of the Spirit of Big Bang model. This is my favorite reference:

https://www.revolution.watch/hk/hubl...big-bang-blue/

I really like the blue ceramic/white composite resin combo, along with the rubber with blue alligator and blue stitching strap. The 42mm Tonneau case size is very wearable on thinner wrists compared to the 45mm models. Being that I’ll never lay down the cash for an RM, this one is a great alternative. All that being said, I would only buy one at a big discount.
