Ode, to my spring bar
Wherever you may be, I tried to remove you in order to put on my NATO that looks so hot, only to release your compressed pressure and have you fire off like a shot. I’ve searched hi and low guessing where you might have landed, only to be disappointed and come up empty handed.
Now don't you worry or fret, I’ve already ordered a replacement on that you can place a bet! My friends be careful when you release these little strays, all I can say is thank God for e-bay!!

Marc, that's wicked! Love it! So appropriate since I also had my bracelet clasp spring bar firing off this afternoon. Luckily, managed to find the bugger after an hour of search. |

Guys this seems to be a reoccurring problem that many have faced with their watches!!! As a possibility, why not do this procedure in a small room(no carpet) so if it flies you can find it. Or how about doing it in a large ziplock bag to contain the spring bar if it were to let loose!!!

You could always fire off the partner and see if it lands near the first. You either get both back or none

Great post I once had just the end of my spring bar fly into the never after. The spring landed on the kitchen table and I found the end in the living room

I have to say, this is a GREAT idea, I'm sure it’s beyond my pea-brain to calculate the trajectory so why not use this altered form of KAOS theory? Brilliant ghostrider

Just put a nylon sock on your wifes vacuum cleaner tube and maybe you will find it again.
