Hi my name is Roger and I have an addiction

I just realized that in the last 30 mins while I have been listening to a CD, I have been starring at my SD the whole time.

Do you ever catch yourself just starring at your watch?

Staring isn't the crazy part...

The crazy part is, several years later I still find myself staring at my watch at some point every day.

Oh, this sickness does run deep.

No worries, Roger.....only the other day I was staring and staring away at my new TT YM whilst waiting at a set of lights waiting for the red to turn to green.

When the light did eventually turn green, I was still staring at my watch when I got a rude reminder from my wife to move my bloomin' ass!! LOL!

Roger, I hate to break it to you, but this sickness of yours is shared by many people on this forum. Why the hell would we be here otherwise. I wear my GMT-II nearly every day and always find my staring at it at least two or three times a day, just to marvel at its beauty. A'int it a great addiction, though.

I agree with everyone above!! I actually got caught staring at my watch (YM) making the dial glitter, I love the way this watch looks, especially in the sunlight.

Ed,

I'd say I have to give you full marks for consistency. Your love and admiration for your GMT-II has been so consistent over the years that I have to salute that.

Cheers - JJ

What can I say, JJ. I just think it's the most all around beautiful and best watch I own.

When I got my GMT-Master II, in 1986, yes. I couldn't believe I owned such a thing. I'd wake up during the night, and turn on the light to look at it.

These days, nah. Just look at 'em to tell time.

same problem , sometimes when I am in a conversation with someone I just have a quick look to admire my watch. it has already happened that the person I am talking with asks if I have an appointment. "nono, am a crazy watch lover" I reply.

Peter, you've just become too blase and jaded.
Go out and get a Leopard and see if that helps bring back the wonder.

Well, let's see. There's someone here who has 1100+ posts and another one who has 900+ posts and is closing rapidly. I wonder who they could be? Do you think they like to talk? Hmmmmm.
