New Rolex Boutique in Atlanta

Mayor’s Jewelers (a division of Watches of Switzerland) has opened a dedicated Rolex boutique at Lennox Square in Atlanta. Their first day of operation was Friday, July 26. I visited on Saturday. They had a much better selection of timepieces than most ADs I have visited. Still mostly the usual suspects, no visible SS sports models, but lots of PM Skydwellers, several Daytonas, Day Dates, a couple of Milgauss’. I expect that their dedicated status will afford them a larger allocation than many others. Time will tell...

Mayor’s also opened a dedicated Audemars Piguet boutique next to the Rolex boutique. Of course, no RO Jumbos 😁.

Thanks for update- does this leave two AD’s in Atl?

I have a charity auction in Atlanta coming soon and I’m told it has a Rolex from one of the local AD’s

Brown and Company is the other Rolex AD. They have 2 Atlanta locations, in Buckhead on Peachtree and in Roswell on Holcomb Bridge Rd.

There is also Tara in Buford. But selection is similar to the descriptions at
Those other 2 ADs

Almost same distance from ATL as Avalon in Alpharetta.

I checked it out this weekend- the new digs are very nice. They had good selection of SS models.

Off the top of my head I remember a 41 DJ blue, 41 DJ Rhodium, and Blue-Z Milgauss. The way the cases are presented, they looked stuffed with models.

While Mayors has been a Lenox tenant for some time, the new boutique is different in that it is in a different location and has a dedicated Rolex boutique with a separate entrance and substantially more display space.

Was at Lenox Square Mall today ... Saw the new Boutique .... I assume their old store is gone out of mall? Boutique is connected to a Jewelry store in center and then an Omega Counter in a separate area with about 20 different Omega's on display ...

Not a single Sports watch on display of any metal. They did have a display window in front with just about every Yacht Master available ...

Tourneau is directly across from them and much more interesting ... This Tourneau is AD for just about every brand it seems except Rolex and Omega. Most of store is Breitilng, Tag, Bell and Ross, Longines. Smaller sections of new Tudor, Blancpain, IWC and Panarai ...

They have quite a fiew resell watches .. Notable Rolex were 3 Sub-Dates ... 2 5 Digit and 1 Ceramic ... they wanted $11,500 for the Ceramic ... Also had both a White and GV Milgauss. Lots of resale Cartier .. which is interesting since there is a Cartier AD in the mall also ..

Exit 11 of GA400 is Windward Parkway. Avalon is located off Old Milton which is exit 10.

I was in the Lenox location a couple of weeks ago, personally I liked the previous location better. Nothing in stock but a few DJs and several Yachtmasters. Think I’ll stick with Brown & Co.

Check out Brown & Company a couple miles south of Alpharetta off of GA400, Roswell Road exit. Will be an easy drive for you from Alpharetta - as long as you stay out of rush hour. I repeat, as long as you stay out of rush hour :-). Great people there and a good selection of brands: Rolex, Patek, Tudor, Breitling, JLC, Omega, etc.

I was told that despite my purchase history at other ADs, I would need to spend $100k with her before I would see a Daytona. I laughed and then spoke to the manager informing them that I DO have purchase history with them come to think of it. A few years ago at this same store, when I was newbie in the watch world world and knew nothing, they took me for $400 servicing my quartz Tag Heuer, my performing a simple battery change for $400. Stupid of me, but shame on them. Anyhow I don't really go in there anymore, and take my money to other ADs when I travel it's more fun anyhow.

Lol the fact that people go for that is amazing to me. 100k to buy a 13k watch. I would rather spend the 20k plus on the grey market. Or, buy 100k worth at the same time as the Daytona and return everything else.
