Rolex Cellini Time

Hi guys,
I have a 214270 MK2 and a 116710LN. I'm debating to buy a white gold time only Cellini 50509 white dial. I feel this watch could also be worn casually on different straps. Does anybody own one and has pictures of it on different straps?

Thank you very much in advance.

MSRP is $15,200.

Why not look at Patek or Lange?

I’m not so interested in them. I liked the 5196g in pictures, but not in real life. Same for the Saxonia slim 37mm. Plus, both are not automatics. The Cellini appears more capable of been worn on a daily basis. I also like the JLC ultra slim small seconds in 38.5mm, but have never seen one in real life.

Haha, I hope so too. But I guess, not that many people are actually interested in that watch. Well, I am though...

I’ve tried this one on in person back in June and enjoyed it. I don’t think you’ll find many owners who have swapped out the straps on these.

I’ve been eyeing the Cellini Date (50515), but at a $17.8k MSRP, I’m thinking it may be better spending a bit more and just getting a Patek Calatrava.

Haven’t kept any pics, but I’ve owned two Cellinies. Great watches and shamefully ignored by Rolex people who just follow the herd. Sorry, but that’s s how I feel. They are easily superior to any JLC, tough, screw-down crowns, beautiful gold cases, superb movements. Lovely on the wrist. An absolute delight to wear.
Certainly a lot classier than some of the favourites. But the levels of uninformed prejudice are now too strong. That’s a shame.

Thank you Peter! That's how I feel about them as well. I think, I'll buy one before the end of the year if I find one at the right price point.
