Most got single digit for each per year, many got less than 5 per year. Some claimed their bigger ADs got 1 SS BLRO a month but that's still a tiny amount.

Most love to talk about the high demand but the Rolex supply is tiny.

My ad said they hadn't gotten a shipment for months. I'm sure it's different all over the world and pretty random aswell.

I was in Greece in May. I stopped in every AD in every town we visited. They all told me they never get a Daytona or the BLRO or the Hulk etc. In Athens I stopped at the AD a few doors down from Zolatas' and was offered a white gold SkyD at msrp but got only smiles when I asked about SS Professional references.

Depends on the store. An AD in the middle of nowhere might get a couple, and 5th Ave or Rodeo might get 20x that.

The real answer is that nobody knows. Even the owner of an AD only knows what their store is getting.

The ADs claiming such small numbers received are lying .

If they are sitting on say a BLRO,BLNR,Daytona,SkyD in the safe or have moved it to a grey ,it hasn't been registered as sold with Rolex .
Therefore, they wont get more on their monthly order.
Rolex knows exactly the stock in store world wide .

The ADs that move stock, get stock .
Average AD gets around one blro, blnr and Daytona a month (.Conclusion based on several discussions with many ADs.)
Those claiming ..."we have only seen one pepsi this year" can be viewed with suspicion. Also a bit of sales talk involved not to make you feel bad because they dont sell you one ...Never take away the clients hope .

I believe that most of the hard to gets sitting at the beloved trusted greys reach them via flippers and not ADs.These percentages will depend on where in the world .Hong Kong may be a higher percentage directly from ADs.

High demand remains the magic potion keeping everything going,at the moment .

i agree. I am saying whatever they tell you they get double or triple it.

Its not like they will actually say, we get 3 a month after you have been waiting a year. Then you will probably yell at them

All these posts where people actually think an AD hasn't gotten any in months is absurd

Established AD from a chain is likely getting 4 - 5 Daytona's per year, and of the 3 GMT's, 4 - 5 each - then everything else in higher numbers until you get to PM's. I have a pretty good relationship with my rep and I have some rough numbers on what they get.

Everything is different now, though, so take that into consideration. The entire Rolex supply chain can't meet demand and it's possible that allocations previously meant for US or UK were or are being routed to China.

A different climate makes this so much more difficult to measure without hard numbers. My guess, based on what I've heard from my rep is that there are going to be 20 - 30 in-demand pieces per year. Every one of them will be spoken for in some regard (lists) and I would have to believe insiders (employees) are getting a crack at them too.

Those three combined I would say a normal size AD fewer than a dozen per year.

Things that AD say that should be taken with a big grain of salt:

"We haven't received any in for months"
"We are equally frustrated that we have nothing to sell"

If they say these, what they are really saying is: "you are not a priority to us."

My AD who has been very good to me says this year they received more Daytona than GMT. They get a steady flow every month. He says around 24 to 30 SS Daytona a year.

Wow. I had no idea it was that many. In that case you’re absolutely right that the AD would get an absolute bollocking on a daily basis by the people on the alleged 10 year waiting list if the punters knew that.

I assume since that AD is in one of the most prestigious and high footfall areas in the country that’ll be close to the upper limit for any AD.

it was a year ago that i went and yes, almost every person there had a daytona c on.

It was kind of weird. No way thats the only ones they have ever sold either. I suspect they get a couple a month

plus there were no famous people at that lunch or big time collectors of which london has a lot. They dont bother with that stuff and im sure they all have one too
