CW 21-BC - Canada?

Does anyone know of a Canadian CW-21 Rolex independent -British Columbia or elsewhere in the frozen north? That you would trust with a 1680 red Submariner.......for service work w/o parts replacement.

Thanks in advance-

I don’t know many Canadians that have had the CW21 training. You may be better off looking for someone who has been to WOSTEP or a similar institution. If you are looking for an independent with a Rolex parts account, you will have to go to an AD. There are no truly independent Rolex watchmakers here in Canada. I don’t know if anyone in BC, but there are a few good watchmakers up here.

This was for an owner who inherited an earlier 1680, and contacted me for my recommendations. The lower 48 has a few CW 21 independents, but that involves
a trip and/ or a shipment with customs declaration. Appreciate the insight. He will have to do his own due diligence, and then make a decision.
My view on vintage rarer references involve an understanding RSC -that will not replace original parts with service parts and will undertake a modified full service
with owner directives and guidelines fully understood by both parties. That may be possibly becoming rarer with today's restrictive RSC policies.

If he wants to reach out to me I’d be happy to talk him through it. I have plenty of experience with vintage Rolex. It’s kind of what I specialize in.
