Emergency battery replacement help needed.
My Emergency (1st edition I believe) watch no longer displays the time/date etc functions but after testing the emergency frequency all looks to be powered up ok on that side of the watch.
So..... do I really need to send my watch to Breitling for a replacement battery (service) for just under the grand sum of £500...!!! It did have one 2 and a half years ago and was satin finished etc... and still looks brand new so I don't feel I need this part of the service.....its a digital watch after all. Surely the battery for the functions part of the watch can be replaced without sending it away... Look forward to any suggestions or experiences you may have had in the past...
