Sorry Op, it maybe my age but imho they look awful and I cannot understand why anyone would go through the pain and risk to have them.

Tattoos and Rolex

I don’t have a full sleeve - only half sleeve but I still enjoy showing both my tatts and my watches when I can.

I am heavily tattooed and never had an issue with anyone, nor any employer. Some tattoos look poor. One must get and pay for quality work.

I am moderately tattooed..Plenty visible, I think as time goes on perception changes. When I had my forearms tattooed 20 years ago, I was probably treated a bit differently but then again I carried myself a bit differently as a teen. Point being I've had no problems with employment or people in general. I do like the perceived juxtaposition between my tattoos and my Rolexes.

Most of my tattoos are not visible, but I do like visible ones. Going to get more ink this fall (small stuff on my right arm) and would like to do a full sleeve on the left.

As time progresses, I think less and less people will care about them. They're not the mark of a Sailor, Biker, or Criminal that they were years ago. Public perception and the quality of the work has certainly changed.

I spent time in military and also the restaurant business but have nary a one...thankful now at my age and career I abstained.

Rolexes however that’s a different story cause if I ever grow bored of one I can move it along...can’t do that with a tattoo.

He wasn't asking your opinion if you like them or not. I dont understand post like this or some people for that matter. Didn't mama teach you if you dont have something nice to say dont say anything at all.

Pretty much any post ever that starts with "Sorry op" it is better to just not post at all.

Guys with tattoos - ain't got no beef with that. I'm not trying to shag them.
Girls with tattoos - depending on what it is I do make a judgement, often by quantity and style it tells you more than words can say.
Girls with tattoos and wearing a Rolex, dang.

Says who? I work for an American Exchange firm in the city of London. I have about 7 tattoos on my right arm and I've never been told to officially cover up. In fact I even had compliments from a board member before. My tattoos are all family related to my kids and I proudly show them off.

OP I think tattoos and Rolexes look great. Long long gone is the image that Rolexes are worn by just bankers and working professionals in suits.

For me:

1. I don’t have any
2. Am totally corporate
3. Think many tats look cool (more so on men, IMO)
4. Agree that you can be heavily inked and still successful...generally it means you ARE NOT working for the man

Theres a couple people I've seen in various areas that have their last name tattooed on their arms. I never really understood this. Wouldnt you rather have it on your back like a permanent jersey? I dont have any tattoos, there cool, and to each their own.
